The idea behind By Local:
We want By Local to be a showcase of the great quality, variety and vibrancy of handcrafted, locally produced luxury,
gift and practical items. All products are made in Gloucestershire with artists & craftspeople from Stroud, Gloucester,
Cheltenham and in-between.
With 'By Local' our aim was to get a group of Gloucestershire artists and craftspeople together to set up,
supply and man a vibrant, inspiring shop displaying and promoting the work of creative local individuals.
We started as a 6 week shop in 2009 and now over 4 and a half years later we're still going strong
and have occupied 9 different shops within the arcade over our time here.
