New shop!
23 of By Local's makers will be opening in "Arcade
Artisans" in the Beechwood Arcade, Cheltenham on May 6th. The new shop will
be run by artist Trudi Hayden. Check on the Find & Contact us page
for new location and shop phone number.

The By Local shop in Cheltenham's Regent Arcade has now
closed, but all our makers still live and work in the area and are working on future plans for the group.

The hope is to come back as a more permanent fixture in Cheltenham.
The Regent Arcade have been so incredibly generous and supportive, and we still have a home here, but
we need to take a break to re-organise ourselves. The shop has been run for the last 21 months by one
artist (who is now very tired). It was set up originally to run on a short term basis, but we've found
(fantastically!) that we've lasted over 4 and a half years.
